Gates Brelsford

Gates Brelsford bought a house and moved to Lake Cherokee in early 2025 but has been enjoying life on the lake virtually all of his life. His mom’s family owned Grissom’s Point, where many happy family gatherings occurred. His brother, Dr Bill Brelsford and wife Peggy, now have that “weekend” property. He Gates has no children but is fortunate to have wonderful family members and cousins. Gates was in staffing and recruiting in Tyler for twenty years before “retiring” and moving to the lake. He was very active volunteering with the Tyler Rotary and the Tyler Area Chamber of Commerce. Before that he worked in B-to-B public relations and investor relations in Houston for several oil and gas companies, which included working in South America. Gates joined the LCCF board in March of 2026.
